Interested in archaeology, ancient history, anthropology, and such? I just stumbled upon The Ancient World Online … a blog that appears to be a repository of links to freely accessable articles and books in electroinc format on all things related to the ancient world. I’ll post some updates on specific finds…and encourage anyone else who finds useful stuff for wargames or D&D there to mention it and/or link in the comments. Surely there are plans of ziggurauts and tombs, research on logistics and warfare, myths and legends, symbols and artefacts, etc. for gamers to pillage!
More free scholarly stuff

Wow! That is an amazing find. Oddly enough I don’t surf the web for much stuff like this but when I watch TV it is typically channels such as the various History and Discover types.
Thanks for sharing Mike!
Who knows, maybe I will pick up some of that knowledge that you always fill us in regarding the relation of things between gaming and historical information.
Very cool. Thanks for posting!
Yeah, that is an amwazing blog. This gets noted every once in awhile on the Delta Green mailing list.
