Save Dandelion the Ogress! There may still be time!

There may still be time to save Dandelion the Ogress!

T&T Delver tales is a choose-your-own path type adventure set up as a blog GMed by Ken St. Andre (author of Tunnels & Trolls and self-proclaimed troll).  Ken is remorselessly following the commands of his commenters who choose this poor ogress’ actions every turn…and there are twelve angry, ogrecidal, maniacs who are relentlessly ignoring that fact that Dandelion is dying but can save herself by putting on a magic necklace…

Before it’s too late, help save Dandelion!  As of this writing, she is still alive, but a block of twleve hardcore ogre-haters keeps choosing pointless “turn left” type commands while a few kind souls are trying to do something useful.

Update: As you’ll notice in Ken’s comment, this is actually an archive of an old interactive game.  Doh.  It’s still a neat blog and worth checking out.

  1. Bwa ha ha ha ha, Mike! You realize I hope that Dandelion’s fate was determined over 5 years ago by those ogrecidal voters. Sure, people can vote now, but, it’s only to see if they managed to vote right.

Still, if I got any good comments, I could work them into the commentary.

I was really hoping for a link over there on your blogroll. 🙂

    • Nope, I didn’t go back to the beginning or wherever that fact was explained. I was confused by the fact that I wasn’t really seeing the votes or an email to vote at but I assumed it was there somewhere. Anyway link added, for whatever good it will do!

They still make for a very entertaining read, and I like that the T&T rules are used and rolls given. I never owned the T&T rules and have only a vague notion of how they work, but I shocked, shocked I say, that they are not more prominent in the OSR, given how rules-lite and free form (not to mention old) they seem to be.
