Fighter subclasses in Telengard

My long term plan for the campaign was to offer some subclasses for fighters, along the lines of the original “paladins” of the Greyhawk supplement to OD&D: at 4th level, fighters could choose to enter a sort of “prestige subclass.” Paladins were an obvious choice for one option, and berserkers would nicely fill the anti-paladin niche without being unholy/Satanic knights (which would work for some settings but not mine). Berserkers would also fit nicely with the vaguely Norse flavor of Skara Brae and the vicinity. For Neutral fighters, I thought for a while before deciding the town fireguard could be an actual subclass too.  Here is my rough draft of how the three classes would work, embedded in the “Fighters” version of the Player’s book for the campaign (PDF file):

Fighter’s handbook

I expect I’ll be making a handbook for each class eventually; the spell books I did for Clerics and MUs will get a few things like experience, saves, and spell memorization tables.  The Elf book will a bit of a biatch, though, since I’ll need to include both spells and fighting.
