Every week I get a newsletter from the American Library Association and they often have links to great digital collections. This time a link led me to a collection of etchings by Wenceslaus Hollar, an artist from Prague who lived for some time in England in the 17th century. I never heard of him before but I think I’ve seen some of his work before. I dig anything in black & white, and especially stuff that is a little weird or surreal by modern tastes or illustrates swords and/or dorkery related topics, and Hollar pretty much tics all those boxes. The full gallery is here.
