Some cogs I built for Man’o’War, the GW fantasy naval battle game. The sails and flags are from MOW kits, to give an indication of scale.
I also did a number of sea monsters, and they are below. Not to scale — the scan below shrinks them relative to the cogs.
<update>
Here is a picture of a couple of the monsters and an ironclad, which is also scratchbuilt.
And some ships:
Pirates!
Vikings! (sorry, too much flash!)
A merchantman.
A corsair with a really offensive bowspirit.
Another ship.
This pirate galleon is probably my favorite. The sails are labels from “Evil Eye” ale. (J.J. Wainwright still brews this but I can’t recall what it is like. I must have liked though!)
Lastly, A rather sloppy copy of an Imperial greatship, behind a lead Games Workshop model.
How did I miss this post? I love these! Great stuff.
Thanks! The stuff in the “pages” area I added before I was posting regularly.
